Man Found Dead In Connellsville Identified

CONNELLSVILLE (KDKA) — A man found dead in Connellsville has been identified.

The body of 56-year-old David Gida was found in the 200-block of South Pittsburgh Street.

According to reports, he had several stab wounds.

The coroner says Gida’s son found him at lunchtime with multiple stab wounds.

Police from Uniontown and Connellsville are at the scene as well as the Fayette County Coroner.

Neighbors say they are in shock about Gida’s death. They describe him as friendly.

Gida performed maintenance in the building and lived in the rear first floor apartment.

    What drug addicts won’t do for a pocketful of change. When they want drugs t hey’ll kill everyone in sight for 4 bucks. ALl this because we neer told them that thery shouldn;t or scared thenm enough.
