Pens Re-Sign Craig Adams

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pens GM Ray Shero has one less unrestricted free agent to worry about.

The team has announced that they've signed forward Craig Adams to a two-year contract.

The contract has an average annual value of $675,000, and runs through the 2012-13 season.

The 34-year old was a role player and one of the team's best penalty killers. Adams, who led the team's forwards with 3:05 shorthanded minutes per game, helped Pittsburgh rank #1 in penalty killing.

Adams was originally claimed off waivers by Pittsburgh March 4, 2009.

Here are the Penguins remaining unrestricted free agents:
*Pascal Dupuis
*Max Talbot
*Mike Rupp
*Eric Godard
*Arron Asham
*Chris Conner
*Tyler Kennedy (restricted free agent)
