Toddler Found Wandering In Greensburg

GREENSBURG (KDKA) — Greensburg police are investigating after a child was found wandering early Saturday morning.

The 18-month old was found wearing nothing but a diaper around 2:30 Saturday morning. But, it was nearly four hours later before the mother reported the child missing.

It happened at the Autumn Brook apartments on Luzerne Street in Greensburg.

She told police she blames the landlord for having deadbolt locks that are too accessible to children.

The child is temporarily in the custody of children and youth services.

Police have not yet filed any charges and will make a determination after getting a recommendation from the children’s bureau.
