Body Found In East Liberty

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Medical Examiner is investigating the death of a person in East Liberty.

The body was found on the porch of a home in the 5400-block of Penn Avenue.

According to the medical examiner, the body is that of a black man in his 60s or 70s. The man has been dead for several weeks.

Officials have tentatively made an identification based on fingerprints, but a name has not been released.

The medical examiner does not believe there was any foul play.

    Even if she is not black they have still lost East Liberty and soon Garfield. I see those trucks everyday on my way to work pushing them out a little each day with progress.

      not evenly mixed. 11 years ago it was 83% black. So guessing that the victim is black is a good bet.

        Kinda cold for me to simply throw out a stat while not addressing the important part. Hopefully this begins bringing closure to some family and that the POS that did this can be taken off the streets.
