PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Pittsburgh Pirates President Frank Coonelly joined Vinnie & Cook on Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan, and while he’s excited about what his team has accomplished so far, he certainly wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more offense.

Coonelly tells us if the Pirates intend to move Paul Maholm, if he has the green light from Bob Nutting to increase salary, and whether he’ll be able to sign their top two draft picks.

He also looks ahead to Interleague play, and weighs in on potential realignment and what it could mean for the Pirates.
