PERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A home in Lawrence County was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the fire broke out in the 700-block of Mountville Road in Perry Township around 6 a.m.

Two people living in the home were able to get out safely with their pets.

There are no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
