Police Probe Attempted Child Luring In Swissvale

SWISSVALE (KDKA) – Police are investigating an attempted child luring in Swissvale.

According to police, the incident happened on Schoyer Avenue shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday.

A 12-year-old girl says a man tried to grab her and get her inside of his truck right outside Dixon School.

Police say the man’s vehicle may have been a white box truck and may have been making a delivery in the area.

The girl got away safely.

“I grew up here my whole life – I never heard of that, but I believe it because of sick people,” Desiree Grana, of Swissvale, said.

Swissvale police are re-interviewing the girl.
