Police: Massage At Local Mall Goes Too Far, Masseur Charged

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Ross Township Police are looking for 58-year-old Xin Zhang after he failed to show up at a court hearing.

Zhang faces one count of indecent assault after he allegedly touched a woman inappropriately while giving her a 30-minute massage at the Comfort Zone inside Ross Park Mall, according to police.

Detective Brian Kohlhepp says the woman claims Zhang pressed his genitals up against her hand a couple of times. She also says he touched her breasts inappropriately.

Zhang was charged and taken to jail but released on bond. He was a no show at his hearing Wednesday, and now a warrant has been issued and police are asking for help in finding him.

Police say the Comfort Zone is a kiosk in the middle of the mall's pedestrian walkway.

No one answered a phone number listed for the Comfort Zone, but Ross Park Mall issued a statement: "Our primary concern is always for the safety and well-being of our shoppers and mall employees. Upon learning of this complaint, the owner of the service was contacted, and the employee was immediately terminated."
