Washington County Farm Named An Endangered Historic Place

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Matt Pitzarella, the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for Range Resources Corporation joined KDKA Radio’s Mike Pintek this afternoon to discuss the latest on Marcellus Shale.

Recently a 214-year-old Washington County farm was named one of the country’s 11 most endangered historic places.

The national trust for Historic Preservation is hoping to prevent longwall mining operations below the land.
