1 Hospitalized After House Fire In Fayette County
NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person was hospitalized overnight after fire broke out at a home in Fayette County.
Fire crews were called to the home in the 5200-block of Pittsburgh Road in North Union Township just before midnight.
According to officials at the scene, the person who had to be taken to the hospital was found lying on the floor in the kitchen.
Officials say the person was conscious, but was flown by medical helicopter to a local hospital. So far, there is no word on that person's condition.
The fire was reportedly contained to the basement.
