Man Jumps To Safety After Fire Breaks Out In Braddock
BRADDOCK (KDKA) -- Emergency crews were called to the scene of a three-alarm fire in Braddock on Sunday night.
Firefighters were called out to the 400-block of 6th Street and found heavy smoke on the first and second floor of the building.
Officials say one person was in the upstairs apartment at the time. He reportedly could not get downstairs, so he climbed out onto a balcony and jumped to safety.
He was not injured.
Authorities say the first floor houses a jitney station.
The cause is under investigation.
