PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Former Pirate third baseman Richie Hebner called in to Vinnie & Cook on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan to share his memories on the 1971 World Series.

Richie tells us how clutch Roberto Clemente and Steve Blass were, and what it took to win the title that year.

Richie also tells us that he checks the Pirate boxscore every day, even though he lives in Boston now!

He also says he would love to coach somewhere in the Pirate organization in 2012.
