Alleged Plum Burglar Held For Court On All Charges

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man accused of burglarizing two businesses and trying to escape police by running across the Pennsylvania Turnpike, was held for court on all charges Wednesday.

Timothy Staunts is accused of breaking into Beall’s Nursery in Plum and taking cash and a camera.

According to police, he then went to the American Legion down the road.

Police spotted him coming out of a second story window, chased him down a hill and across the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Staunts was eventually captured on the other side of the road.
