Crews Battle Springdale Fire
SPRINGDALE (KDKA) -- Fire destroyed the roof of a home in Springdale.
The fire started at a house in the 400-block of Elwyn Avenue between Linden Street and Maple Avenue just before 2 p.m.
Emergency officials say the fire reached two alarms.
The fire chief told KDKA-TV it appeared the fire started in the back.
Firefighters had problems with the heat, but no one was hurt.
