PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) — If you’re looking for a job, how about a career in aviation? The airline industry is predicting the biggest surge in pilot hiring in history- it’s estimated they’ll need 23,000 or more pilots per year.

So how do you take advantage of this? It turns out, the Community College of Beaver County has the No. 1 aviation training program in the nation, and you can get your pilot’s license, Air Traffic Control certification, or other aviation or aerospace jobs in a relatively short time.

KDKA AM’s Larry and John talk to Captain Carmen Robinson, aviation director of BCCC’s Aviation Sciences Center, about the opportunities in the aviation field and what you need to do to fly the friendly skies.
