PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — It was time to pay the piper. The day of reckoning arrived to put my money, or jockstrap, where my mouth is.
I laid down the challenge 40-games ago that the Pirates didn’t have a shot of being .500 after 68-games or else I would hand wash every jock strap in the clubhouse.
Well, they did; and today, I did.
