Pens Select Defenseman Joe Morrow In First Round
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Penguins are on an annual search for skilled wings, so there was no chance they would take anything else with the first pick, right?
With the 23rd pick, the Pens took a defenseman, Joe Morrow from Portland.
TSN has him ranked 20th overall. The other services had him between 27th and 34th.
Morrow adds another puck-moving defenseman to the Pens system. He scored 49 points last year in 60 Western League games.
