Author Discusses Civil Rights Movement
PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) -- Dr. Tomiko Brown-Nagin joined KDKA Radio's Chris Moore to discuss her book "In Courage To Dissent: Atlanta and the Long History of the Civil Rights Movement."
Dr. Brown-Nagin is a legal scholar, law school professor and historian.
Her book talks about the serious tensions between the national civil rights groups and local activists throughout most of the 20th century.
