Malkin/Crosby Injury Updates
PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Pens head coach Dan Bylsma had some good news concerning the health of both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
Bylsma met with the Pittsburgh media and announced that Malkin "probably is ready to go" for the start of the 2011-12 season.
Malkin missed the last portion of the season after tearing ligaments in his right knee.
He is currently in Russia rehabbing his right knee.
The best news of the day dealt with Pens captain Sidney Crosby.
Bylsma announced that Crosby has been cleared by doctors for twice-per-day, off-ice workouts, just as he normally would at this point of the off-season.
