Accused Target Window Smasher Misses Preliminary Hearing

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The woman accused of smashing the windows of a local Target store failed to show up for her preliminary hearing Wednesday morning.

District Judge William Wagner gave Donna Rosenberger a 30-minute grace period after she did not show up for her 9 a.m. hearing.

An arrest warrant was issued at 3 p.m. after she did not turn herself in.

Rosenberger, 39, of Cranberry, allegedly smashed windows at the Target in McCandless last week.

She was allegedly frustrated after trying to return an ice cream maker. The store would only give her a gift card, but she wanted her money back.

Rosenberger is facing charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

This woman scares me, look at those crazy eyes. Issue the warrant and lock her up, maybe she get some much needed help. What she did is not normal behavior over returning a item.

  5. Robyn Scherer says:

she is a space cadet. She needs locked up in a padded room.

  6. Seeking balance says:

Issue the warrant already, she’s shown herself to be a danger to ‘normal’ society.
She definitely could benefit from some therapy and likely some medication (if she’s already on it, it should be better regulated). Scares me that she’s out walking around (with a bat no less) anyway!

  7. Zack says:

I’m shocked! She didn’t show. Who actually thought that she would show up. I would start searching for her at the local sporting goods stores.

  8. psycho lady says:

geez.. you think she would’ve really showed up??

  9. What? says:

Who tries to return an ice cream maker after having it for seven years?… That’s what was initially reported.

  11. Level Green says:

This same whack job just had a summons issued for her arrest on some traffic violation that she didn’t pay….. She probably needed the CASH for the ticket…

  12. JustSaying says:

Whew! Fly a quail past her and I’ll bet she goes on point! Maybe she should take the store’s offer of a merchandise credit and put it towards some beauty products? Couldn’t hurt.

  13. Neighbor says:

She always walks her dog in my neighborhood. She once asked me what I would ask the president of the universe if I could ask just one question. She also mentioned that she writes musicals about the band Kiss. I feel sorry for her.

    1. Neighbor Also says:

I know her! She is so random with her conversations. Never thought she was dangerous, though. I feel sorry for her dog.

  14. Harley says:

Today an elderly customer threatened to slit my throat if I did not say hello to him the next time he banged on a window to get my attention. And the public wonders where the young black kids get the notion that it is ok to dis-respect or kill each other.
