DERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A man from Westmoreland County is now facing charges for trying to kill another man inside the victim’s Derry Township home.

Police say Michael Lehman, 25, went into a mobile home in Bogel’s Trailer Court, attacked Eric Vogel, 44, with a knife, and then stole $170 from the victim’s shorts.

Vogel suffered lacerations to his head, arm, chest and foot, but was able to get away.

Lehman is being held in the Westmoreland County Jail unable to post $15,000 straight cash bond.
