PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Today is reportedly decision day for former Penguins Player Jaromir Jagr.
Several media outlets, including TSN in Canada, are reporting that Pens’ GM Ray Shero has made his final offer to Jagr’s camp, and now it’s up to number 68 to decide whether he wants to end his career where it started here in Pittsburgh.
The offer is reportedly a one-year deal somewhere in the $2-million range.
Jagr’s agent, Petr Svoboda, told 93-7 the Fan last week that Jagr wanted to return to the NHL to play with the world’s elite talent again.
Yesterday the Pens signed winger Pascal Dupuis to a new 2-year deal worth $3 million.
