Update: Still No Decision From Jagr

Update (6:54): Jagr was supposed to make a decision between 330 and 4 PM. We're hearing that his flight to New York was delayed. His agent, Petr Svoboda, maintains that Jagr will have an announcement upon landing.

We appear to be about 5 hours away from Jaromir Jagr making his decison.

Jagr's agent, Petr Svoboda, announced that Jagr is currently enroute to the United State and will make his decision shortly after arriving.

Jagr is due to arrive in New York around 3:30 PM.

Svoboda also says that he talked this morning with Detroit GM Ken Holland.

He's not expected to speak with Pens GM Ray Shero again before Jagr decides.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Today is reportedly decision day for former Penguins Player Jaromir Jagr.

Several media outlets, including TSN in Canada, are reporting that Pens' GM Ray Shero has made his final offer to Jagr's camp, and now it's up to number 68 to decide whether he wants to end his career where it started here in Pittsburgh.

The offer is reportedly a one-year deal somewhere in the $2-million range.

Jagr's agent, Petr Svoboda, told 93-7 the Fan last week that Jagr wanted to return to the NHL to play with the world's elite talent again.

Yesterday the Pens signed winger Pascal Dupuis to a new 2-year deal worth $3 million.
