6 Hurt In Pennsylvania Turnpike Accident

SOMERSET (KDKA) — State police say six people were hurt in an accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Somerset.

The crash, involving a pickup truck towing a camper, happened at mile marker 101.4 eastbound.

Three people were flown to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown. Three others were taken to the same hospital by ambulance.

It’s unclear at this point how the accident happened.

Eastbound traffic on the turnpike was tied up for nine miles.
