Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Pittsburgh Pirates today placed infielder Ronny Cedeno on the seven day disabled list with a concussion.
To take Cedeno’s place on the 25-man active roster, the team has recalled infielder Pedro Ciriaco from Triple-A Indianapolis. Ciriaco will be active for the first game of today’s doubleheader against the Washington Nationals. Ciriaco will wear uniform #3.
