Man Injured After Fall At Gas Drilling Site

MORGAN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A man was transported to a local hospital after falling off a gas drilling rig in Greene County Thursday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the man fell about 43 feet off the rig in Morgan Township near Happy Valley and Browns Roads.

When medics arrived at the scene, the unidentified man was unresponsive. He was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital and his condition is unknown.

There is no word on what caused him to fall or the extent of his injuries at this time.

    I suppose us tax payers are left with the workers comp expenses while Tom Corbett refuses to tax gas drilling to make us whole?
