Worker Dies In Lawrenceville Industrial Accident
LAWRENCEVILLE (KDKA) – A worker was killed in a Lawrenceville industrial accident early Friday morning.
According to officials at the scene, the accident happened just after midnight at McConway & Torley.
The company manufactures railcar products including couplers and yokes.
It is believed that Timothy Mingo, 51, of the North Side, was killed after becoming trapped in some equipment.
OSHA is expected to investigate the accident. According to OSHA, the company has a good safety record and was recognized in 2009 for having outstanding safety and health areas.
