19-Year-Old Struck By Car, Injured In New Castle
NEW CASTLE (KDKA) -- A 19-year-old was hospitalized for critical injuries Saturday night after a vehicle reportedly struck her while she was walking along a street in New Castle.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, emergency officials in Lawrence County reported that it happened after 10:30 p.m. on East Washington Street after an annual community fireworks show.
Police in New Castle continue to investigate the incident.
The teen was taken to a hospital in Youngstown by medical helicopter.
