Bostick Joins Pitt Broadcast Booth As Color Analyst
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- New Pitt football color commentator Pat Bostick tells Vinnie Richichi of SportsRadio 93-7 The Fan that he is pumped up to be joining the Panthers broadcast booth this fall.
He says he is looking forward to calling Pitt's new high-octane offense.
In a press release, the former Panthers' quarterback said: "I am thoroughly honored to be the new color analyst for Pitt football. My passion for the University of Pittsburgh and Pitt football will be reflected in my diligence and dedication to helping provide an insightful, entertaining and enjoyable radio broadcast for Panther fans.
Bostick is replacing Bill Fralic in the broadcast booth. Fralic stepped down after serving the past seven seasons as the radio analyst for Pitt football.
He was a three-year letterman for Pitt, earned his bachelor's degree in just three years and is now pursuing his master's degree at Pitt's School of Education.
He gives Vinnie a look at his approach towards preparing for games, and what perspectives he'll be able to bring to the booth.
