Love Letter Arrives 53 Years Too Late

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020KDKA) - Paul Rasmussen and Rose Ryan-Douglas talk with Christine Kindl, spokeswoman for California University of Pennsylvania, on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA about a just-delivered letter meant for a student who hasn't been enrolled there for over 50 years.

The letter, signed simply with a woman's first name, was written in 1958 and addressed to Clark C. Moore, a junior at the school when it was still called California State Teachers College.

The U.S. Postal service has not provided an explanation for how the envelope, sent with four one-cent stamps, disappeared for half a century.

Listen in as Ms. Kindl recounts Mr. Clark's reaction to the news!
