Allegheny County ‘Most Wanted’ Burglar Now In Custody

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office arrested another most wanted suspect Thursday night.

Sheriff’s deputies, tracked down 28-year-old Andrew Streshenkoff in Elizabeth.

Streshenkoff, from Mount Oliver, was wanted for failing to appear at his sentencing in connection to his guilty plea on burglary and conspiracy charges.

Carnegie Police charged Streshenkoff back in September of 2010.

He was arrested and free from jail on bond and later pleaded guilty to those charges. He was to appear in court on June 27, 2011, for his sentencing, but failed to do

He was then placed on the Allegheny County Sheriff’s “Most Wanted” website.

Sheriff’s deputies received a tip from someone who spotted Streshenkoff in a vehicle in the South Hills area Thursday morning.

The person reported the license plate number to police.

Police determined the car was registered to someone living in the 5800-block of Smithfield Street in Elizabeth.

Deputies surrounded the residence Thursday evening and were able to apprehend him without incident.

Streshenkoff was taken to the Allegheny County Jail where he will be held until he is sentenced.
