NORTHVIEW HEIGHTS (KDKA) – One person was injured in a Sunday morning shooting in Northview Heights.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 700-block of Mt. Pleasant Road around 10:30 a.m.

The victim was allegedly pistol-whipped in the head and shot in the stomach.

He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital and was last listed in serious condition.

Police are currently searching for one suspect.
