Judge To Determine If Hammer Attack Suspect Can Return Home
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A judge is trying to decide whether a teenager, who attacked his ex-girlfriend with a hammer, should spend the rest of his house arrest at his home or with a relative.
Robertino DeAngelis, of Mount Lebanon, is scheduled to be in court Monday.
DeAngelis was found delinquent after a trial on charges that he attacked his girlfriend, Sarah DeIuliis, with a hammer and then tried to take his own life by throwing himself in front of a light rail car in 2007.
The two live just a few miles apart and the girl's family does not want him to return to his home.
