PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - CBSSports.com MLB senior writer Scott Miller chats with The Vinnie and Cook show on Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan about what he calls the best story in baseball right now, the Pirates.
Surprised that the Reds aren't doing better in the division, Scott doesn't see any reason why the Pirates can't win the NL Central with the way they've been playing. He thinks this pennant race is going to go right down to the wire and as long as the Bucs can hang around the top, they could win it. Scott compares this year's team to the 2007 Diamondbacks and the Padres of last season given the way they've won games without scoring many runs. The main difference he sees is that San Diego last year wasn't made up of primarily young players like the Pirates.
