PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Indianapolis Indians announcer Howard Kellman joined The Vinnie and Cook show on Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan to give some insight on the Pirates currently playing for the Triple A club including Pedro Alvarez, Steve Pearce, and Ronny Cedeno.

Howard says Pedro has looked good so far in his stint at Indy, as has Ronny Cedeno. Pearce has played very well as of late and Howard says he’s really working on getting his timing down pat.

He also gives his thoughts on Clint Hurdle’s handling of the minor league system so far and tells us what pitchers on the AAA club could potentially offer some help to the big league team later this season.
