5 Firefighters Treated While Battling Munhall Blaze

MUNHALL (KDKA) – Five firefighters had to be treated because of excessive heat while battling a fire in Munhall Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to East 11th Avenue for a house fire around 2 p.m.

When they arrived, they found the home fully engulfed. The flames spread to the house next door before firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control.

There are no reported injuries for the residents of the two affected homes.

There is no word on the conditions of the five firefighters that were treated for heat related issues.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
