Residents Spot Black Bear In Indiana Township

INDIANA TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A black bear was spotted wandering around a neighborhood in Indiana Township Saturday morning.

According to police, the bear was seen on Eisele Road around 11:30 a.m.

Neighbors reported seeing the bear eating from bird feeders and walking off into the woods.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission was called, but it is not known if they captured the bear at this time.

    It might be a wise idea to not put out bird feeders right now. Save them for winter. The birds will do just fine at this time of the year. There are plenty of seeds.

    I had one run threw my yard yesterday around 6pm, there have been many sightings in the township recently.
