Crews Repair Beechview Water Main Break

BEECHVIEW (KDKA) – A Sunday morning water main break closed a portion of a road in Beechview for several hours.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the break happened in the 700-block of Wenzell Avenue around 6:30 a.m.

Pennsylvania American Water has shut off the water and crews are working to fix the break at this time.

In all, 15 customers were left without service due to the break.

Wenzell Avenue was closed between Banksville Road and Boustead Street, but has since reopened.
