Boy, 2, Collides With Vehicle In Millvale

MILLVALE (KDKA) - A 2-year-old boy was injured when he was outside and collided with a car Sunday evening.

The car did not stop and police are looking for the driver.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 600-block of North Avenue in Millvale.

Initially, it was believed to be a hit-and-run, but that may not be the case.

Logan Sayer, 2, was rushed to Children's Hospital with a head injury. His father, Jared, said he would be okay.

"Well her step-daughter is 13. She had three of her friends, and they were just waiting at the truck. I thought they had Logan or his mom had him. I don't know. I had my daughter and my step-son. I walked across the street and heard the thump," Jared Sayer said.

Sayer said he saw a blue Hyundai with a white male driver leaving the scene.

Police are not sure if it is a hit-and-run situation or if Logan ran into the side of the vehicle.

"Just get the guy," Sayer said.

Jared thinks Logan was hit in the head by the vehicle's mirror.
