GERMAN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police in Fayette County need your help finding a suspect.

Masontown Police and Fayette County Constables were close to arresting 28-year-old John Riggen on Sunday at a business on Route 21 in German Township, but he got away.

Riggen is wanted in connection to an assault that happened back on July 19.

State police in Uniontown charged him with felony aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Authorities believe Riggen may have shaved his head.

Crime Stoppers in Fayette County is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
