Suspect Sought After Valuables Go Missing At Fox Chapel Home

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh CrimeStoppers is hoping the public can help police locate a wanted criminal.

The suspect is 21-year-old Jesse James Walthour. There's a warrant out for his arrest on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Detective Steve Dish, of the Allegheny County Police, says earlier this year Walthour was staying at a home in Fox Chapel with his girlfriend and their baby.

The homeowners were out of the country at the time, and when they returned, they were missing thousands of dollars of items, including family heirlooms, coins and jewelry.

Dish says investigators determined that Walthour sold many of the stolen items at local precious metal stores.

Walthour is heavy set and is about six-feet tall. He was last spotted in the Natrona Heights and Tarentum areas.

If you have information on his whereabouts, the Pittsburgh CrimeStoppers number is 412-255-8477.

You could be eligible for a reward of up to a thousand dollars if Walthour is arrested and convicted based on information you provided police on his whereabouts.
