Henry Winkler Visits Pittsburgh For Wheelchair Games
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Actor, director, producer, writer — is there anything “The Fonz” can’t do? Henry Winkler is in Pittsburgh as part of the 31stNational Veterans Wheelchair Games, going on all week in Pittsburgh, and he’s here for a special cause.
Mr. Winkler is promoting awareness of upper limb spasticity, a debilitating condition that affects roughly 1 million Americans who have suffered a stroke, and you can see him at the Disabled Sports, Recreation and Fitness Expo at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown, on Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“I got right off the plane, went straight to Mineo’s, and had way to much food before going to sleep,” Mr Winkler said of his late night landing in the ‘Burgh.
