Henry Winkler Visits Pittsburgh For Wheelchair Games

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Actor, director, producer, writer -- is there anything "The Fonz" can't do? Henry Winkler is in Pittsburgh as part of the 31stNational Veterans Wheelchair Games, going on all week in Pittsburgh, and he's here for a special cause.

Mr. Winkler is promoting awareness of upper limb spasticity, a debilitating condition that affects roughly 1 million Americans who have suffered a stroke, and you can see him at the Disabled Sports, Recreation and Fitness Expo at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown, on Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

KDKA AM's Larry and John talk to Mr. Winkler live in Studio K, and get all the details for the expo, as well as talking about his new book, his current TV role, and what else he's doing in Pittsburgh.

"I got right off the plane, went straight to Mineo's, and had way to much food before going to sleep," Mr Winkler said of his late night landing in the 'Burgh.
