PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The Pirates appear to be getting a player back from the disabled list today.

All indications point to catcher Ryan Doumit returning from the disabled list.

Doumit has been out since injuring his ankle on May 29th versus the Chicago Cubs.

Last night for Indianapolis, Doumit went 2-4 with a walk.

If he’s activated today, the Pirates will send Eric Fryer back to AAA. The team will also have to make a move to clear a spot for Doumit on the 40-man roster.

Manager Clint Hurdle will have an interesting decision to make as far as playing time. Who becomes the starter, Doumit or Michael McKenry?

Who would you start at catcher?
