Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Todd Graham and the Pitt Panthers received a commitment today from a linebacker from Baltimore, Md.

Devon Porchia announced today that he selected Pitt over Wake Forest.

Porchia, a 3-star recruit according to Rivals.com, was recruited for Pitt by tight ends coach/Maryland recruiter Tony Dews.

Porchia is Pitt’s 12th commitment in the class of 2012 and its second recruit from Maryland.

The 6-2, 203 lb. linebacker told Chris Peak of Pantherlair.com that the reason he selected Pitt “was mainly the atmosphere at Pitt and how comfortable I felt in that area with the campus”
