Penn Hills Girl Injured By Dog

PENN HILLS (KDKA) — A dog bite sent a child to the hospital.

Penn Hills Police say a little girl was bitten in the face by a dog Monday afternoon at a home in the 200-block of Universal Road.

According to police, the girl’s grandmother put the dog in the basement behind a gate. The girl was bitten when she opened the gate.

She suffered bites to her right check and lower lip and was taken to Children’s Hospital.

There is no word on her condition.
