Cooking Corner: Fresh Pasta With Summer Veggies

In this week’s Cooking Corner segment, Market District Chef John Gruver stops by with a tasty recipe for fresh pasta with summer veggies!

–Boil fresh pasta in water – al dente

–Meantime, drizzle olive oil in a hot saute pan
–Add fresh chopped yellow squash, zucchini, fresh corn kernels cut off the cob – saute together until soft;
–Add carmelized onions

–Stir together

–Add boiled pasta to the saute pan with the veggies; include a little of the pasta water.
–Add fresh frommage blanc cheese to make a sauce

–Add fresh tomatoes, chopped
–Sprinkle with sea salt or kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper
