7 Steelers Out For Preseason Opener

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met with the media this morning to discuss Friday’s preseason opener vs. the Washington Redskins.

Tomlin said that 7 players were definitely out for Friday’s.

The following players will not dress on vs. Washington: TE Eugene Bright, LB Mario Harvey, WR Adam Mims, WR Emmanuel Sanders, CB Cortez Allen, CB Bryant McFadden and G Chris Kemoeatu.

As expected, Tomlin said that the starters won’t play much, probably around 10 snaps.

He also said that as of today, he hadn’t determined a quarterback rotation for the game.

Friday’s game will be televised on KDKA-TV, pregame show starting at 7 PM.

    I have to say that I do not have the same enthusiasm for football this year as I have had in the past. I truly think it’s because of the strike and seeing firsthand how greedy both the players and owners are. There are people losing jobs, healthcare, homes, etc., and to see a bunch of greedy people fighting over stupid things sickens me.

    Time will tell Anonymous. I have to agree with Jonas. The economy is in disaray, and these crybabies are worried about how many millions they are making.
