PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pitt freshman wide receiver Darius Patton collapsed at practice Thursday and had to be transported to the ER at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland.

The exact cause of Patton's collapse was not released, but coach Todd Graham said he expects Patton to be fine.

"He's awake and alert and his vitals signs are very good," coach Todd Graham said. "We are waiting for further information. We hope he is going to be fine. That's all I really know. His vital signs were good and he was alert and responsive and he was doing fine."
