PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — The Steelers will take on the Philadelphia Eagles tonight at Heinz Field.

Ahead of the preseason action, The FAN Morning Show’s Jim Colony caught up with Maurkice Pouncey.

After last week’s loss to the Washington Redskins, the Steelers center said he was unhappy with his play.

“[I] just have some technique issues; things I’ve got to get better at,” said Pouncey. “I’ve been working my butt off at practice this week.”

He said he is ready to go against the Eagles.

“I’ll play the whole game if I had to,” he added. “We’ve been practicing real hard… we’ll be ready this week.”

After tonight, there are only two more preseason games before the regular season begins. They are Saturday, Aug. 27 against Atlanta and Thursday, Sept. 1 in Carolina.

The regular season begins Sept. 11 in Baltimore.
