PITTSBURGH (SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN) — Steelers Running Back Baron Batch joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about his recent ACL surgery, how it went, and what his recovery time-table is looking like.

Baron told us about how his surgery went and what he’s doing right now to try to recover from it.

Baron was able to spend some time on the field before suffering his injury, and told us what he took from his time in training camp.  One of the highlights of Baron’s first training camp was standing up James Harrison in the backs-on-backers drill and talked about what it was like going up against that type of competition.

Despite his season ending injury, Baron said he is staying in Pittsburgh and will be around the team as much as possible to try to learn everything he can and is looking at this year like it’s a redshirt season.

We wrapped things up with Baron getting his initial impressions of Head Coach Mike Tomlin.
