Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Hopewell running back Rushel Shell reportedly has reportedly narrowed his choice of colleges down to four.

Mike White of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Shell is down to Pitt, Florida, Virginia Tech and Alabama.

Speculation is that Shell will make his final decision on October 14th when Hopewell plays Central Valley on ESPNU.

White also reports that Shell will be playing a different position on defense this season. Last year, Shell played cornerback but will switch to outside linebacker in 2011.

Shell (6-0, 210 lbs.) is the #2 rated player in the Pennsylvania this season behind Bishop McDevitt DE Noah Spence.
